The Orhei residential institution for boys with disabilities has a new director, Minister of Labor Mircea Buga announced on his Facebook page. The new director is Alexandru Ghidirimschi, who graduated from the State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics “Nicolae Testemitanu”, IPN reports.
Alexandru Ghidirimschi is from Dubasari. He also studied at the Faculty of Social Assistance, Sociology and Philosophy of the State University of Moldova. “After a series of regrettable events, I’m confident that a new phase will start at this institution and things there will improve,” said the minister in his message.
The former director of the Orhei residential institution for boys with disabilities was dismissed following a feature showing the beneficiaries of this institution with bruises on the body and other injuries. A commission assessed the situation at this institution, identifying serious violations caused by defective management.
