New director appointed to Moldova Mail
Stefan Munteanu has been appointed director to the Moldova Mail State Enterprise. The 33-year-old specialist with a grounding in banking was introduced on Tuesday to the staff by Communications Minister Pavel Filip, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Minister said the banking experience will be useful to the new director in establishing a better connection between banks and the post to provide services of superior quality, enabling customers, for example, to receive money remitted by their relatives from abroad directly at the postal office in the village, without having to go to the district capital. Pavel Filip also expressed his confidence that the newly appointed director will be able to diversify the range of services.
Stefan Munteanu said he will use his professional experience to make the company more prosperous so that it can ensure decent salaries to its employees and superior services at reasonable rates to the population.
Moldova Mail runs 1,148 postal offices across Moldova and employes over 5,400 workers.
