Colonel Veaceslav Garstea was appointed as deputy assistant of the chief of the Border Police Department based on an order signed by the Minister of the Interior, IPN reports, quoting the Border Police.

Veaceslav Garstea, 36, earlier served as head of the Border Police Sector of the Chisinau International Airport.

Border Police chief Fredolin Lecari said he is sure that the new deputy chief will make effort to cope with the tasks entrusted to him.
