All the new trolleybuses brought from Minsk will start to run in Chisinau by September 1, the head of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Gheorghe Morgoci announced in Monday’s meeting of City Hall officials, Info-Prim Neo reports. Gheorghe Morgoci said the last three trolleybuses of the third batch will be conveyed to Chisinau by this weekend. The first trolleybuses of the third consignment will arrive in about three weeks. Twenty-three new trolleybuses run on the streets in Chisinau at present. The Chisinau City Hall bought 102 trolleybuses from the Belarusian plant Belkommunmash within a project to modernize public transport, which is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the European Union. Earlier, the City Hall said all the trolleybuses will be brought to Chisinau by June 1.
