New customs service director appointed
The deputy Minister of Finance, Feodosia Furculita, was appointed on Wednesday, May 17, as director of the customs service.

The former director of the Customs Service Nicolae Valcu aged 54 died 3 weeks ago, after a very hard illness.
Feodosia Furculita was born on 11 June 1958 in the village Sarcani, Orhei. In 1976, she graduated the Financial-Economic College of Chisinau. In 1990 she graduated the State University, Finance and Credit specialization. In 1995 graduated the Public Administration Academy of the Government of Moldova. Since 1976 she is engaged at Orhei town mayoralty, being appointed as inspector, head of the financial department, deputy mayor, and head of the financial–economic department.
Since 1996 she works at the Ministry of Finance as department head. Since 1998 she was appointed as deputy chief and then chief of the Fiscal Inspectorate of the Buiucani district. On 3 April 2002, according to the decision Government she is appointed as deputy Minister of Finance.
