The persons in vulnerable or conflict situations with their mates, who need assistance, legal services and psychological counseling will be able to gratis use the social assistance service for the child and family that was launched in a news conference on June 12, IPN reports.
Svetlana Chifa, head of the Municipal Child Rights Protection Division, said the service aims to provide assistance and training to families and children in difficulty so as to prevent other problems with repercussions for their lives.
The objective is to keep the family integral by developing and providing social services that can prevent the separation of children from parents. Psychologist Diana Lvovschi said the parents must be attentive to the needs of the children. “We will counsel the children who are dependent on the computer and their parents. We will use different psychotherapeutic methods and relaxation therapies for parents who are stressed and who do not manage to comprehend the children’s world. We will draw children’s attention by painting and other kinds of workshops,” she stated.
Liliana Rotaru, head of the Child, Community, Family Association, said the social assistance service for the child and family is based on an individual approach to every child and the family in particular, with emphasis being put on the rights of the child.
