A new corridor for crossing the Republic of Moldova – the Chisinau International Airport -  Criva-Mamalîga (road) – was instituted besides the existing ones and is functional as of August 3, IPN reports, quoting the announcement placed on the Government’s website.

This way, Moldova can be crossed directly, without stopover, through the corridors set between the state border crossing points:

Giurgiulești-Galați, road – Giurgiulești-Reni, road;
Chisinau International Airport, air – Leușeni-Albița, road;
Chisinau International Airport, air – Palanca-Maiaki - Udobnoe, road;
Chisinau International Airport, air - Criva-Mamalîga, road.

The corridors can be used for transit in both directions. The travellers will receive a document with the transit itinerary and the time offered for leaving the Republic of Moldova.
