The conference of teaching staff working in the municipality of Chisinau entitled “Modernization of the educational system – a condition for insuring and promoting quality in education” will take place Wednesday, August 22, at the National Opera House in Chisinau. The major objective of this year’s conference is to adjust the national education with the European one as regards the plenary development of the student’s creative potential. Just before the conference, 11 specialised workshops are taking place on August 17, 20 and 21. The workshops center on the most important issue related to the activity of schools during the school. Among the subjects discussed are “Modernization of preschool education”, “Local public administration – a decisive factor for insuring quality in the municipal education system”, “Multilateral development of the student – a precondition for the formation of a honest personality”, etc. Methodical meetings with the participation of professors from secondary and specialized pre-university institutions will take place on August 22 - 30. A number of 12 000 teachers work in pre-university institutions in Chisinau municipality. The conference will be moderated by the Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca. Besides teaching staff, all the decisive factors involved in the education process are invited to the event.
