The municipal training center for children and adolescences who need special education conditions was outfitted with equipment for learning trades. Currently, this education institution is attended by 60 students who study such specialties as “Home caregiver for sick persons”, “Tailor”, “Shoemaker” and “Plasterer”, mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban has announced.
To introduce a new specialty that is in demand – “Computer operator”– there were purchased 15 computers. “We aim to engage the young people in different activities, in the decision-making process and to help them easier integrate into society. Each child deserves our attention,” stated the mayor.
The activity forms part of the Training Program “Development of ecologist skills and ecologization of public schools in the municipality of Chisinau” and is organized with support from the project “Promotion of Technical and Vocational Education for a Green Economy” that is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) with financing from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
