New commercial large bus route in Chisinau

The company “Ruta-Prim” announces the launch of the first buses to run on route 122 in Chisinau. 14 buses will start running on July 21, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from sources in the company. The company's management informs this is going to be the first route employing large buses for commercial purposes, as only small buses or minibuses run on the other routes. The ticket will cost 3 lei. The buses will link Botanica to Buiucani districts via Stefan cel Mare ave. They will run from 6.00 to 23.00. According to a research carried out by “Ruta-Prim”, the 122-route buses will carry some 10,000 travelers daily, thus attempting to reduce the pressure during peak hours. The buses have been bought from South-Korean Hyundai, as the launch ceremony took place on June 27. Hyundai plans to considerably expand the presence in Moldova, as after opening offices and repair facilities, Hyundai is said to create some 500 new jobs for Chisinau residents. The new buses match all quality norms, as “Ruta-Prim” says it will insure a high level of servicing travelers.
