Bus route no.2, linking the suburban town of Cricova to the city, will be supplemented with new buses. The last installment of the Isuzu Citiport buses bought by the municipality is arriving in Chisinau, and some of the six new vehicles will replace old ones on the suburban route.
The Chisinau City Hall said in a press release that seven buses currently operate on route no.2 and most of them are older than 20 years. The routes that connect the suburban villages of Ghidighici, Băcioi and Dobrogea need new additions, too, added the municipality.
The recent 78 million lei purchase of 31 Isuzu Citiport buses has freshened about 30 percent of the fleet operated by the Chisinau Bus Company.
