11:50am. The NAC and anticorruption prosecutors arrested six more employees of the Sculeni customs post and the Ungheni customs office on corruption-related charges, IPN reports. Those arrested include two shift heads of the Sculeni customs post and four customs inspectors. In all, ten persons were arrested for 72 hours on suspicion of acts of corruption.

Four persons were arrested by the National Anticorruption Center and anticorruption prosecutors within a criminal case started over acts of corruption committed by employees of the Sculeni customs post and the Ungheni customs office. Among those arrested is the chief of the Ungheni customs office. National Anticorruption Center press officer Angela Starinski said there were also arrested the deputy head of the Ungheni customs office, a shift head of the Sculeni customs post and a customs inspector. The operation continues with searches. In the morning, the Sculeni customs post had been closed for several hours, but now works in a normal regime.
