The Cabinet on June 5 accepted Angela Ponomariov as Moldova’s Ambassador to the UK. The candidate is to be appointed by a presidential decree, IPN reports.
Angela Ponomariov has worked in the diplomatic service since 1994, covering all the hierarchical stages. She held different posts at Moldova’s Embassies in Germany, Latvia and Austria and has the diplomatic rank of minister-counselor. The candidate was also accepted by the British government.
Also today, the Cabinet named Dumitru Saghin as director general of the Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices. Until recently, this served as vice director of the Agency.
