Teenage girl gets severe pains after suicide attempt A Leova young woman, 19, attempted to commit suicide while visiting Chisinau, but fortunately her attempt failed. A 55-year-old woman, apparently under the influence of alcohol, lost her balance while getting off a minibus, suffering brain concussion. The woman was admitted to the Emergency Hospital. Another woman, 50, was hospitalized at the Holy Trinity Hospital with convulsions from poisoning caused by mushrooms she bought at the grocery. The woman is said to be in critical condition. On Tuesday and the following night Chisinau ambulances responded to 775 emergency calls, involving, among other, 61 cases of trauma, 45 cases of acute viral diseases, 6 brain strokes and 30 cases of mumps.
