The motor vehicles brought to the territorial-administrative units of the Transnistrian region or Bender municipality after April 24, 2018 can be registered at the subdivisions of the Public Services Agency for obtaining neutral-design license plates without paying import duties, but with the mandatory presentation of customs documents. The villages Cocieri, Corjova, Coşnița, Doroțcaia, Molovata Nouă, Pârâta, Pohrebea and Vasilievca of Dubăsari district make an exception, IPN reports.

According to the Customs Service, the given units of transport will be cleared based on a new standard form, TV-24. The document will be issued at internal checkpoints and at the common Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing points situated on the Transnistrian segment.

To obtain the TV-24 form, applicants will have to present confirmative documents showing the domicile of the person and the ownership right, and an own responsibility statement concerning the accuracy of the data presented in the annexed documents.

The persons who owned the motor vehicles before April 24, 2018 are freed from the obligation to present customs documents at the Public Services Agency for obtaining neutral-design license plates. The condition regarding the car utilization period is also excluded for this category.

The neutral-design license plates are intended for vehicles from the territorial-administrative units of the Transnistrian region and Bender municipality and allow for their participation in international traffic.
