Block no. 1 of the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery has been renovated. In particular, the exterior walls and the roof were thermally insulated, and the external windows and doors were replaced.

The total value of the project is 7,122,961 lei, of which 5,000,000 lei was contributed by the Agency for Energy Efficiency, and the remainder by the Institute itself.

In a ceremony on this occasuion, AEE director Ion Muntean noted that the Agency for Energy Efficiency has the mission of implementing the state policy in the field of energy efficiency, energy performance of buildings, as well as the utilization of renewable energy sources, including through attracting and managing financial resources in order to finance projects in the respective fields in a sustainable way from the point of view of the environment and climate change.
