The emergency department at the Neurology and Neurosurgery Institute in Chisinau has opened after a renovation carried out with the contribution of the Czech Embassy and the National Health Insurance Company, IPN reports.

The department has been equipped with top-notch medical devices and modern furniture. The medical equipment includes a portable ventilator, cardiorespiratory monitors, an intensive care stretcher, a medical aspirator, a resuscitation bed, a blood cell count analyzer and other.

The department will receive patients based on a severity scoring, with priority given to those whose lives are at risk or who show rapid and progressive aggravation.
