The negotiations on the creation of a government coalition are blocked, the leader of the PDM Marian Lupu said after the round of talks held on January 21, before the sitting of Parliament, IPN reports.
“No move forward was made in this round. It is total and continuous blockage. Therefore, the PDM calls on all the serious forces to contribute to identifying a solution to overcome this situation and to form a government,” stated Marian Lupu.
The leader of the PL Mihai Ghimpu went out earlier, telling the journalists that there is a break.
The Parliament sitting starts at 3pm. It was called at the request of the MPs of the PLDM and PDM. The agenda includes the election of the administration of the legislative body and the constitution of the Standing Bureau.
The negotiations between the leaders of the three pro-European parties have lasted for seven weeks.
