The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) this year will publish two new statistical surveys: one on employee mobility and jobs and the other on the activity of extracurricular institutions, IPN reports.

The NBS's program for this year includes 110 titles of statistical surveys, of monthly, quarterly, yearly or one-time periodicity, 147 informatory notes, and 26 statistical editions. Over 80 questionnaires will be filled in and presented on the request of international organizations, said BNS director Lucia Spoiala while presenting the program to the Government for approval.

The program also includes 7 titles of new administrative informatory documents needed for the compilation of statistical data such as on the number of lawyers, numbers of drugstores and pharmacy personnel, number of taxpaying contributors to the National Social Insurance Fund, financing of technological transfer projects, number of motion pictures, and number of settlements with constant water supply.
