The national women’s football team of Moldova plays its first match after a non-year pause on April 4, at 4pm. The team trained by Alina Stetsenko meets the similar squad of Lithuania in Vadul lui Voda town, IPN reports.
Moldova will also play against Latvia and Luxemburg in the qualifying rounds of the 2017 European Championship. “Our objective is to qualify for the next stage even if our two main players suffered injuries,” Alina Stetsenko told a news conference.
“Everything was organized at the highest level. The fields are extraordinary and in perfect condition,” said the Moldovan Football Federation director responsible for specialized national teams Marin Mitran.
The encounters with Latvia and Luxemburg will take place also in Vadul lui Voda.
