The draw to decide the groups of the first qualifying round of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup was held at the UEFA administrative headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, IPN reports.
Moldova’s national team will play in Group III alongside Israel, Lithuania, and Andorra. The matches will take place in Lithuania during April 6-11, 2017. Only the winners of the four groups and the best second-ranked team qualify for the next round.
In the previous qualifying competition, the team trained by Alina Stetsenko managed to qualify for the second round after beating the squads of Lithuania and Luxemburg.
