The National Wine Day will be again staged in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau after a pause of two years. The event will take place on October 1 and 2 and will bring together over 70 wineries from all over the country, IPN reports.

“My wine brings peace and turns peace hatred into love”. This is the slogan of the 21st edition of the National Wine Day, representing a call for solidarity with the wine industry and the effort made to develop the sector. This year, we will celebrate the Wine of Moldova and its high quality that was confirmed at the most prestigious international wine competitions,” the organizers noted in a press release.

They also said that the National Wine Day is a suitable occasion for celebrating the legends and the wine heritage, the results achieved by the Wine of Moldova and to award the best ones. Moreover, the most important wine event of the year calls on all the visitors to become envoys of the Wine of Moldova. This year, the National Wine Day continues to promote responsible and correct consumption of high-quality wine.

The national wineries will have the doors open to tourists who are willing to discover the offers and the cultural-artistic heritage of the region.

After the official ceremony to open the event, there will be handed over Medals of Gratitude and awards intended for representatives of the wine industry. The event will include an artistic and cultural program, a Wine School that aims to teach consumers how to responsibly consume wine, dedicated tours and special programs at all the national wineries with oenotouristic potential.
