The national volleyball team of Moldova suffered defeats in the first three matches of the qualifying competition of the 2017 FIVB Men’s World Championship that is held in the Netherlands, IPN reports.
The team trained by Artur Romascan lost to Greece (1-3), the Netherlands (0-3) and Slovakia (0-3). In the duel against the Slovaks, Moldova lost the first set by 9-25. Later, the Slovak team inclined the balance in their favor with difficulty, 31-33 and 23-25. On May 27, Moldova plays against Luxemburg, while on May 28 against Austria.
The lineup for the competition consists of Pavel Cimil, Alexandru Shcheglov, Mihail Voleanschi, Maxim Cojocaru, Igor Didorciuc, Vladimir Stelmah, Marin Lescov, Pavel Mocanu, Serghei Predius, Vasile Talpa, Roman Dudicov, Iurie Pantir and Dumitru Bahov.
