The national Under-21 football squad of Moldova obtained one point in the 2015 European Championship preliminaries after tying 0-0 with Wales in Tiraspol, IPN reports.
According to the press service of the Moldovan Football Federation, the guests’ offense was more dangerous, but the Moldova’s defense, together with goalkeeper Alexei Koshelev, played exemplarily. Moldova now ranks fifth in the group with four points. It is surpassed by England, Lithuania, and Finland.
On October 15, the team trained by Alexandru Kurteyan will play against the squad of Finland, which is the leader of the group.
