The national Under 19 futsal team of Moldova ranked eighth at the international tournament “Futsal Week Summer Cup” that took place in the Croatian city Porec, IPN reports.

In the playoffs, Moldova was beaten by Poland 0-5 and by Finland 0-10. In the groups phase, the team trained by Vladimir Vusatyi lost to Slovenia 1-7 and to Hungary 2-8, but defeated Finland 4-0 through the goals scored by Denis Petrachi, Constantin Nita, Constantin Gurjui and Alexandru Botezat.

The tournament was won by Iraq, which beat Croatia 3-1 in the final.
