Over 2,000 fourth graders from Chisinau municipality speaking other languages than Romanian had the first national test on Monday. It was the oral exam in the Romanian language and literature, IPN reports, with reference to a press release of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports of Chisinau.
The next national exam in primary education, in mathematics, will be sat on May 17. This will be followed by the exam in the language of study on May 21. The primary school graduates will take the last test, in the native language and literature (Ukrainian/Bulgarian), on May 23.
In total, the national testing in primary education will cover about 9,700 children from 135 educational institutions of Chisinau municipality.
