Five national companies from both sides of the Nistru River are taking part in the largest footwear and accessories exhibition in the world held in Germany’s Dusseldorf on July 29 – 31. The common stand of Moldova displays products by “Oldcom”, “Vitalie Burlacu”, “Cristina” and by “Floare” and “Tighina” based in Transnistria, IPN reports.
The participation in the exhibition was organized by the Light Industry Employers Association with support from the EU and UNDP, within the Support to Confidence Building Measures Program. The exhibition in Dusseldorf is a large-scale one. This year it will bring together 880 brands. The exhibitors are able to strengthen their visibility on the international market and to establish business contacts.
“The company “Oldcom” is taking part in this event in order to promote its products in Europe. We are present on the European market, but we want to extend the list of our partners. Here, we can also study the fashion trends for the 2016 spring-summer season,” said the company’s marketing manager Olga Botnaru.
The representatives of “Tighina” have great expectations of the participation in this exhibit. “It is an excellent platform for international promotion. We want to promote our products and to establish contacts with producers from other states and with new partners. We aim to penetrate new markets and this exhibition will help us achieve this goal,” said the marketing manager of “Tighina” Svetlana Pamujac.
Since 2009, with financial support from the EU-UNDP - funded Support to Confidence Building Measures Program, 75 economic entities, 35 of which from the left side of the Nistru, have taken part in specialized exhibitions in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, France, Romania, and Bulgaria with common stands.
