The Chisinau municipality on December 25 stages a Christmas concert themed “What Wonderful News”. Four generations of artists will take part in it. The proceeds will be given to artists in difficulty, IPN reports.

Culture Division head Lucia Culev said that the concert will involve Akord band, Catalin Josan, Osoianu Sisters, Tatiana Cerga, Cristina Pintilie and students of the National Music Lyceum “Ciprian Porumbescu”. Master Eugen Doga will give a recital.

Among other participants are such stage veterans as Gheorghe Urschi and Stefan Petrache and writers Spiridon Vangheli and Vladimir Besleaga.

The concert starts at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased from the booking offices of the National Philharmonic for 100 -150 lei.
