The National Library of the Republic of Moldova offers the users the possibility of accessing improved products and services through its website and social networking sites and provides access to the National Thematic Repository in Bibliotechonomy and Information Science of Moldova to all the librarians of the country.
The National Library moved to the virtual sphere in a bid to satisfy users’ needs, the Library’s director Elena Pintilei stated for IPN. The personnel of the National Library remain available for research, informing and verification of bibliographical resources.
The National Thematic Repository in Bibliotechonomy and Information Science ensures access to the open electronic archive of intellectual results in bibliotechonomy and information science.
As of March 16, the National Library works according to a special program. Until April 1, users will not have access to the institution given the COVID-19 pandemic.
