The National Liberal Party (PNL) will mount a motor march on January 24, when it is celebrated the Union of the Romanian Principates. The column of vehicles with the tricolor and the PNL’s flag will go through all the five districts of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. This motor march of the PNL is a festive event dedicated to the Union of the Romanian Principates of January 24, 1859. The union is closely connected with the personality of Alexandru Ioan Cuza and his appointment as ruler of the old states Moldova and the Romanian Country – on January 5, 1859 in Moldova and on January 24, 1859 in the Romanian Country,” PNL deputy chairman Anatol Revenko told a news conference. The march will involve representatives of the PNL from Chisinau and the country’s districts. “The PNL calls on the Romanians to follow the example of the forerunners,” said Anatol Revenko.
