National Liberal Party regrets lack of transparent dialogue for society inside ruling alliance
“The National Liberal Party (PNL) regrets the lack of a transparent dialogue for the society inside the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) and of an intense dialogue with the society and the pro-European parties for preparing a safe and irreversible victory over the pseudo-communism and Communists who continue to manipulate the people in a period of difficulties caused by the inheritance left by the corrupt clans and by the world crises,” the party says in a statement, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The PNL calls on the democratic parties and the civil society to contribute to the immediate identification of an optimal solution for avoiding developments that could favor reactionary and anti-national forces in the next political battles.
“The protests staged on April 6, 7 and 8, 2009 and the disappointments felt in the society make us wonder if the political forces are or not capable of providing a safe project to Europenize Moldova, which will be different from that aimed at uniting the two Romanian states,” it is said in the statement.
According to the PNL, the early legislative elections of July 29 did not contribute to the establishment of the political stability needed by the center-right - center-left coalition, while the non-election of the head of state caused a constitutional impasse.
“The parties that formed the AEI have not yet decided how to break the political stalemate, but behave like electoral opponents already and this has a negative impact on the political, social and economic developments and on the spirit of things in the society,” the statement says.
The population's distrust in the legal system, which has not yet become independent, the social impact of the painful economic reforms and the lack of minimum welfare for most of the strata of the population generate confusion and can lead to the change of Moldova's position in the Eastern zone, the PNL warns.
The party considers that its programmatic conception concerning the interstate Moldova-Romania Union is the optimum mechanism for moving towards the Euro-Atlantic community and will continue to explain the advantages of this conception for the entire population.
