From next year, the National Greening Day “A Tree for Our Eternity” will be observed on the last Saturday of October, in accordance with a decree issued by Acting President Mihai Ghimpu, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the presidential press service, Mihai Ghimpu made amendments to the presidential decree of February 13, 1995 on the institution of the National Greening Day. In Article 1, the phrase ‘on the first Saturday of April’ was replaced with the phrase ‘on the last Saturday of October’. The Ministry of the Environment and "Moldsilva” Agency were entrusted with the task of organizing the event.
