The National Grape Festival, traditionally hosted by the Cimișlia district and scheduled this year for September 18, is being canceled, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry announced. This was decided due to an “unfavorable epidemiological situation”, rising Covid cases in particular.
The latest data from the Ministry of Health show that over 10,000 new Covid cases were recorded in Moldova during August 1-7, and 32 people died as a result of associated complications.
