The national futsal squad of Moldova took one more step towards the trophy of the international tournament Four Nations Cup that is taking place in the Polish town Zielona Gora, IPN reports.
After beating Norway 5-3, Vladimir Vusatyi’s pupils defeated Wales 3-2. Even if they were led by 0-2, the ‘tricolors’ had the power to restore the balance and then to win owing to the goals scored by Viorel Gaibu (26th and 31st minutes) and Eduard Hoderean (35th minute).
In the match against Norway, Oleg Hiloti scored three times, while Alexandru Shevchuk and Cristian Obada scored by one goal.
In the last match, Moldova meets Poland and needs a victory in order to rank first. Poland also won the first two games, beating Wales 8-1 and Norway 3-2. The decisive encounter between Moldova and Poland will take place on January 7, starting at 8pm.
