The national futsal team of Moldova missed the chance of qualifying for the 2022 UEFA Futsal Championship. Moldova lost the last qualifier to Slovakia 0-4, IPN reports.
The Slovaks opened the score in the 6th minute through Dusan Rafaj. Martin Smericka doubled the advantage in the 25th minute, while Gabriel Rick scored two times, in the 27th and 39th minutes.
Moldova manager Vladimir Vusatyi used the following players: Oleg Chitoroagî, Sergiu Nikolaichuk, Andrei Negara, Andrian Lașcu, Sergiu Tacot, Alexandru Țîmbalist, Sergiu Munteanu, Valeriu Costin, Leonid Podlesnov, Marin Stan, Constantin Gurjui, Victor Negară and Constantin Nița.
The match against Slovakia didn’t involve Cristian Obadă (injured), Constantin Burdujel and Iulian Cojocaru (both suspended). “With these three players and with spectators in the stands, it would have been a different match. We should also not forget that the internal championship hasn’t take place for over a year,” stated Vladimir Vusatyi.
