National Frequency Allocation Table modified
The state radio frequencies commission approved modifications to the National Frequency Allocation Table. The modified table will be published in the Official Gazette, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.
The communique says the range of frequencies is managed both at national and international levels and measures are taken to exclude the inadmissible interference in the communication between the radio stations of different countries and the radio stations of one state.
The National Frequency Allocation Table is usually modified after every World Radiocommunications Conference. The last amendments were introduced in 2005.
The state radio frequencies commission consists of representatives of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of the Interior, the Information and Security Service and other authorities. Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Lazar heads the commission.
