National Foundation for Romanians from Everywhere urges Moldovan partners to make up lists with people missing or arrested in Chisinau
The National Foundation for Romanians from Everywhere (NFRE) urges its Moldovan partners, and any person knowing about a person missing or arrested, to immediately send this information to Romania and to international human rights defending organizations, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“Do not forget that those people are defenseless, and now they can be tortured and pressed to state what the oppression forces from Chisinau want,” reads a communique distributed by the National Foundation for Romanians from Everywhere.
The organization asks the Romanian authorities send Romanian and international human rights observers to Moldova to check up the detention conditions, the suspicions of torture and psychological pressure the protesters from Chisinau, Balti and Ungheni have been subjected to.
The NFRE is a non-governmental organization pursuing to coordinate public policies and actions to assist the Romanians from everywhere.
