The national football team of Moldova takes the 164th spot in the last FIFA rankings this year. The team trained by Igor Dobrovolski slipped two spots during the past month even if it played no match, IPN reports.

At the beginning of this year, Moldovan ranked 154th. In the period, the national team played eight games, having a win, two draws and five defeats. Moldova’s opponents in Group D of the 2018 World Cup qualifying competition take the following positions: Wales – 12th, Ireland – 23rd, Austria – 31st, Serbia – 44th, Georgia – 118th.
