The national football team of Moldova played the second match within its training session in Turkey. After the 1-2 defeat with Romania, Moldova drew with Kazakhstan 1-1, IPN reports.

Shchetkin profited from Posmac’s mistake in the 48th minute and opened the score. Halfback Alexandru Gatcan tied six minutes later, scoring thus his third goal for the national team.

“Gatcan and Golovatenco joined us in this game. We felt the presence of these footballers on the field. We had a more organized game,” Moldova coach Alexandru Curteian told a news conference.

“It was a hard, but balanced match. I was a little lucky when I scored,” stated Alexandru Gatcan.

The friendlies against Romania and Kazakhstan formed part of the preparations for the duel with Sweden of the Euro 2016 qualifying competition, which will take place in Chisinau on March 27.
