The National Employment Agency will merge with the 35 local employment agencies and will become an administrative authority with legal personality managed by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection. It will have local subdivisions without legal personality, IPN reports.
Under a Government decision, the National Employment Agency will have 250 employees, 50 of whom will work as part of the central staff, while 200 in local subdivisions.
The central staff will be responsible for the implementation of employment policies nationwide and will coordinate the activity of the local subdivisions. It will analyze the labor market and make forecasts and will put into practice the labor force migration policy. Therefore, the post of labor market inspector will be instituted as part of the central staff.
