National Division fixtures announced
The Moldovan football championship will have, for the first time, 39 rounds, Info-Prim Neo reports. The fixtures schedule was set up on Wednesday, June 30, at the Moldovan Football Federation. The National Division will kick off July 25.
Most of the teams were happy with the draw. The championship opening includes 7 matches in 2 days. The Federation accepted the clubs’ request to extend the first round of fixtures till December and to start the second one earlier, on February 16.
The first matchday, July 25 and 26, has scheduled the following games: Dacia Chisinau – Gagauzia Comrat, Academia UTM Chisinau – Olimpia Balti, Sheriff Tiraspol – FC Tiraspol, Dinamo Bender – Iskra-Stal Rabnita, FC Costuleni – Nistru Otaci, Rapid Ghidighici – Viitorul Orhei, Sf. Gheorghe Suruceni – Zimbru Chisinau.
The 2010/2011 season will end on May 22, 2011. The Moldovan Cup final is scheduled for May 26.
