National Children’s Library to award model readers
The National Children’s Library “Ion Creanga” is holding the fourth Model Reader contest on May 26, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the library.
Ten best readers of the National Children’s Library “Ion Creanga” are taking part in the contest.
The contesters will take four tests and demonstrate their knowledge of literature, abilities of using encyclopedias and dictionaries and speak about their favorite works of literature. At the fourth test, every contender will present a composition on the theme “Preferred Reading: Books We Read and Books Our Parents Read in Childhood”.
The jury will offer by two First, Second and Third prizes (in prize money) and books and diplomas to all the participants in the contest.
The contest is organized in cooperation with the Children’s Fund of Moldova and the National Section of the International Board on Books for Yong People (IBBY).
