National Business Program for 2010 presented
Over 30 business associations presented Friday the National Business Program for 2010, which is a platform for dialogue between the state and the businesses. The first program of the kind was launched one year and a half ago, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Igor Munteanu, executive director of the Institute for Development and Social Initiative “Viitorul”, which helped promote the National Business Program, said that a large part of the recommendations contained in the first program were included later in the policies formulated by the Government.
The updated National Business Program focuses on the facilitation of the import and export, the customs procedures and the access to finances.
Head of Parliament Mihai Ghimpu said that only a fruitful cooperation between the state institutions and the economic entities can contribute to the creation of an attractive business environment.
MP Veaceslav Ionita said the MPs in cooperation with representatives of businesses are drafting a bill that contains a number of the proposals included in the National Business Program.
Sofia Sugac, deputy head of the businessmen's club Timpul, said it is for the first time in the last few years that the Ministry of Finance refunded her the VAT at the expected time. Also, the CEMT authorizations for international carriers were distributed before the start of the 2010 economic year. Sofia Sugac said there are also other positive developments, but there is yet a lot to do, including simplifying the customs procedures.
A number of entrepreneurs asked the Government to identify efficient methods of providing information about businesses, especially to rural settlements and districts.
