The National Blood Transfusion Center will receive a grant of 9.3 million lei through the agency of a project financed by the Swiss Red Cross, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, with the financial support of the Swiss Red Cross, consumables will be purchased for taking and testing blood and for producing blood components.
The National Blood Transfusion Center will be outfitted with cold storage chambers and containers for extending the capacities for storing blood components and for ensuring the conditions needed for transporting these.
The grant of 9.3 million is provided to the National Blood Transfusion Center in the framework of the project “Humanitarian Response for Ukrainian Refugees in Moldova” that is financed by the Swiss Red Cross.
