The National Bank of Moldova is opening its doors to the general public on August 27, the Independence Day of Moldova. At the end of the weekend, all those interested will have the opportunity to see the collection of commemorative coins of the central bank and find out more about the security features of the Moldovan leu, but also about how they can join the bank’s team, reports IPN.
Visitors will be offered a journey into the history of the national currency, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary. They will learn more about the security features of the Moldovan leu and how the authenticity of the banknotes can be verified, and finally visiting children will pre presented with a Financial Education Guide.
Children, young people and adults of any occupation who are interested in the NBM’s activities, are expected at the National Bank between 9:00 and 16:00. Access to the bank’s premises for adults will be allowed based on the identity card, and the tours will take place on the hour.
