Students and master’s degree aspirants of a number of national universes who are interested in the financial-banking sector familiarized themselves with the opportunities provided by the National Bank of Moldova to its employees. The Career Day at the NBM was staged for the first time as part of the Bank’s communication strategy, IPN reports.
Artur Mironov, senior expert of the Human Resources Development Division, said the Career Day includes workshops where students interact with specialists. By such an event, the NBM aims to attract young specialists to fill the vacancies, in the payment systems, bank regulation and ban surveillance areas.
The Bank provides training and professional competence and managerial skills development sessions, English language and economy courses centering on the banking sector.
The new specialists who join the NBM receive a lump sum in assistance, are ensured access to optional health insurance and have 50% of the annual post-Bachelor’s degree studies compensated.
NBM governor Octavian Armaşu said the event is staged for students to see examples of people who built a career at the Bank. “We understand that we do not have specialists trained for a central bank directly from universities. But we compensate for this gap. The National Bank has an extraordinary personnel training program,” he noted.
The NBM signed cooperation agreements with the Academy of Economic Studies, the Technical University and the State University of Moldova.
