The National Bank of Moldova has announced the launch of a contest of essays entitled “Moldovan leu on its 25th anniversary” that is open to students from Moldova and abroad, IPN reports.

According to the Bank, the contest starts on October 1 and ends on November 15. Its results will be announced on November 29 when there will be celebrated the 25th anniversary of the putting into circulation of the national currency.

The essay must center on the announced theme and contain at most 3,840 signs with spaces and shall be submitted to the email address concurs@bnm.md, with the note For Essay Contest.

The contest commission will choose by at most three essays in each category: primary school, secondary school or lyceum, college or university.

The awardees will receive commemorative and jubilee coins.
