The national team of Moldova ranked last in Group 2 of the qualifying competition of the European Badminton Championships. Moldova suffered defeats in all the three matches played at the Futsal Arena FMF in Ciorescu village of Chisinau municipality, IPN reports.

Moldova was beaten by Russia, Scotland, and Ukraine by the same score of 1-4. The only points to Moldova were brought by the participants in the Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games Cristian Savin and Vlada Gînga.

The mini-tournament held in Moldova was won by Russia that won victories in all the three matches.
