The number of graduates who passed the national Baccalaureate exams grew by 82 after the examination of challenges to 12,650. The exam pass rate rose by 0.45 percentage points to 68.76%. The final results of the national Baccalaureate exams of the main session, following the examination of challenges, were published at Baccalaureate centers on July 3, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Education and Research.
The 2023 Baccalaureate session involved over 18,000 candidates. After the preliminary results were made public, 9,000 challenges disputing 13.51% of the total number of 68,000 grades given in the main session were filed. Most of the challenges referred to the grades in the Romanian language and literature exam, this being also the exam that involved the largest number of candidates.
The number of graduates with the average grade equal to 7 or higher is of 6,470. As many as 3,310 graduates got an average grade equal to 8 or higher, 962 candidates – an average grade equal to 9 or higher, while 47 candidates – an average grade equal to 10 or higher.
The additional Baccalaureate examination session will be held during July 17-24. 2023.
