The head and deputy head of the national commission for grading the Baccalaureate exam papers in the Russian language and literature were punished administratively by the National Anticorruption Center. They were fined by 2,000 lei, IPN has learned from the Center.
The penalties were imposed as a result of an inspection carried out by the Ministry of Education, within which it was established that these persons favored two high school students who took the Baccalaureate exams in the Russian language and literature.
It was determined that the graders identified the works of the two students and examined them in a preferential way. They were penalized for protectionism, which is punished with a fine of 2,000 to 6,000 lei.
